Anodization and Painting

Our masts can be anodized and painted in many different colours. The most common treatment is to anodize the mobile tubes and then paint the mast when completely retracted.

The anodizing can be also hard or with specified micron thickness. The painting can be glossy or matt.

Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts and increase the corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

Besides the change of colour, the purposes of the treatment are:

• Increased wear and abrasion resistance
• Moderate heat insulation
